Graveside services for Jack A. Stacey, 75, of Rapids City, IL, will be 10:30AM Friday at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Anyone wishing to attend should be at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL, by 10:00 AM. Mr. Stacey died Tuesday June 7, 2011 at Genesis West, Davenport, IA. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. Jack was born December 5, 1935 in Rapids City, IL, the son of S.C. and Estelle Vander Beke Stacey. He married Barbara Bowles November 24, 1956 in East Moline. He served in the U.S. Marines. He retired from John Deere Parts Distribution Center, Milan, IL in 1996 after more than 20 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Stacey of Rapids City; daughter, Marla Stowell of Davenport, IA; sons, Jack M. Stacey of Rapids City, Todd Stacey of Moline; granddaughter, Briahna Stowell; sister, Donna Clark of Silvis; brother Joe (Debbie) DeJaegher of East Moline.
