Jack C. Tindal, 87, Moline, passed away at the home of his daughter Josephine on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Funeral services are 1 PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct military honors. Visitation is 5-8 PM Thursday (Today) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to QC Honor Flight.

Jack was born on October 8, 1931 in Estherville, IA, the son of Kedric and Winnie (Lingenfelter) Tindal. He married Marie (DeRammelaere) Depoorter on March 10, 1962 in Moline. She passed August 23, 2002. Jack worked with his father for 12 years at Tindal Auto Sales before becoming owner for an additional 30 years. He and his wife Marie owned and operated Tindal License and Title for many years. Jack enjoyed attending the Sunday races and had sponsored many race cars over the years. He was a member of the East End Bolder's Club and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his children; Josephine "Jo" Williams, Carbon Cliff and Joe (Jackie) Depoorter, Moline, grandchildren; Wendy (Chris) Vastine, Nicole (Jeremy) Bruns, Ryan (Kasie) Depoorter, Renee (Nick) Killham, Jahnon (Brad) Kreisler and Aubry Tindal and great grandchildren; Allison, Thomas, Kylie, Sophie, Sawyer, Addison, Luke, Rece, Reagan and Evie.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, son Jack Tindal, son-in-law, Ron Williams and sister, Betty DeClerck.
