Funeral services for Jack Winchester, 65, Moline, are 10 AM Friday, June 6, 2007 at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association. Mr. Winchester died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Forest Hill Care Center, East Moline. He was born October 11, 1941 in Metropolis, IL, the son of Steve and Evelyn (Crenshaw) Winchester. He married Mary Jane (Simonich) Wagner on October 10, 1989 in Davenport. Jack had worked as a custodian for several area businesses including the Casino Riverboats. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and was known for his lawnmower and tractor repair. Survivors include his wife Mary Jane Wagner, Moline, daughter Juanita Wisely, Prophetstown, IL, sons Michael, Colona, Roger, Dubuque, IA and Scott, stepson Karl Wagner, San Diego, CA, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister Norma Greenwood, Navoo, IL and brothers Dan, Colona and Joe, Navoo. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, 2 sisters and a brother.
