James L. Brooks II, Moline, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at his home. Memorial services are 11 AM Saturday at Bible Holiness Church, 2201 Old Colona Road, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Jim was born on March 3, 1964 in Altus, OK, the son of James L and Greta (Sutton) Brooks. He graduated from UTHS, class of 1982. His favorite job was when he was editor of the Aledo Times Record. He later worked for Illinois Bell. He is survived by his father and step-mother, James and Judi Brooks, East Moline.
