James A. Hook, 68, East Moline, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his home. Funeral services are 11 AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Friday (Today) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to ASPCA. Jim was born on June 18, 1946 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Marion and Lorraine (Litzau) Hook. He married Delores A. Daily on December 27, 1969 at Watertown Baptist Church, East Moline. Mr. Hook retired in 2010 from John Deere Plow Planter. He enjoyed riding his John Deere Tractor and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife Delores, siblings, Joyce (Allan) Faust, Galesburg, Robert (Kathy) Hook, Coal Valley and Judy (George) Nyquist, Rock Island, several nieces and nephews, and his feline friend "Abby".
