James McClung, 56 of Rock Island, IL, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

James was born on December 13, 1963, in Rock Island, IL to Donald L. and Walburga A. (Becker) McClung.

James had several jobs over his lifetime. He started out working at Henry's in Rock Island, IL. Most recently he worked at Harris Pizza in Rock Island, IL.

He is survived by his sisters; Pam (Tom) Carlson, Park View, IA, Kim Womack, Rock Island, IL; nieces and nephews, Kelly (Matt) Shelton, La Porte City, IA, Amy (Aaron) Bartels, Davenport, IA, Ashley (Anthony) Padilla, Moline, IL, Brian Womack, Rock Island, IL; and great nieces and nephews, Jacob and Macie Shelton, Jackson, Camden and Ellie Bartels, and Layla Padilla.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites were accorded. There will be no public services. Online condolences may be left for the family at vanhoe.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to help cover final expenses.
