James P. Morris, 69, of East Moline, died March 5, 2021, at home. Services are pending at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd.

James was born in Unionville, Missouri on June 12, 1951. He is the son of Robert and Jean Ellen (Dunkin) Morris. James was employed by the East Moline Landfill as a maintenance worker, retiring in 2020. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Survivors include his daughters, Rhonda (Chad) Gengler, Moline, Jamie McNeill, Davenport, IA, Brandi Gerard, Toulon, IL, Aggie Lambert, Kewanee, IL; son, Christopher Morris, Davenport, IA; brothers, Robert Morris, Jr., Davenport, IA, Jack (Susan) Morris, Summerfield, FL, Richard Morris, East Moline; sister, Linda Barnett, Davenport, IA; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter.
