James G. Vozikis, 81, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Private graveside services will be held at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Mr. Vozikis was born May 9, 1923 in East Moline, IL, the son of Constantine and Antonia Vozikis. He married Georgia Kanellos, July 21, 1946 in Chicago, IL. Survivors include: his wife, Georgia Vozikis of East Moline, IL, daughters and sons-in-law, Toni and Gary Sluga of Lenexa, KS, Janice and Jack Firth of Abington, PA; son and daughter-in-law, Dino and Marsha Vozikis of Colona, IL; grandchildren, Jim, Paul, Jared, John Michael, Joanna; great granddaughter, Julia; sisters and brother-in-law, Tina and Gus Pappas of Fountain Valley, CA, Angeline Pallock of Carbon Cliff, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Ernie and Reeda Vozikis, of Las Vegas, NV. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
