Funeral services for Janalee Hook, 44, Port Byron, are 11 AM Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Andalusia. Private inurnment will be in Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a liturgy service will be recited at 6:30 PM. Jana died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at her home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for an education fund for her children. Jana Allen was born, July 25, 1961 in Moline, the daughter of James and Violet (George) Allen. She was a waitress at Deerfield Restaurant; East Moline, and had worked previously as a waitress at Denny's by South Park for 20 years. She married Bob Hook, May 7, 1992. Survivors include her husband Bob, children; Nathan Allen Terrill, Rock Island, Natalie Hook and Nolan Hook, her father and step-mother James and Thelma Allen, Reynolds, sister, Patricia Lynn Downey, Illinois City, brother William Allen, Rock Island, step sister Sherry Orey, Silvis and step brother Carl Cross, Channahon, IL Her mother Violet preceded her in death.
