Private funeral services for Janet Duncan, 80, of Colona, IL, will be held at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery. Mrs. Duncan passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, at Amber Ridge Memory Care, Moline.

Janet Reeves was born January 3, 1941, in Osceola, IA, the daughter of Harold and Winifred (Cardiff) Reeves. She married Webb Duncan July 21, 1978, in Des Moines, IA. She retired from John Deere Harvester, East Moline in 2003 after 29 years of service. She and her husband loved to fish at their cabin in Wisconsin, play tennis at their winter home in Arizona, playing golf, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She had been a member of Colona Methodist Church for over 40 years.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Webb Duncan, Colona; children, Dawn (Michael) Conner, Moline, and Shawn (Becky) Jefford, Dewitt, IA, Debra Duncan, MS, Michael (Lonnie) Duncan, Colona, Craig (Tina) Duncan, Colona, and Jimmy Duncan, East Moline; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and brother, James Reeves, Blue Eye, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Presley Jefford; and sister-in-law, Phylis Reeves.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
