Janet C. Kohl , 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2025, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

Per her wishes there will be no service. Private entombment will be in the mausoleum of St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Van Hoe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Janet was born on June 23, 1937, in Geneseo, Illinois, the daughter of Emery and Ethel (Nelson) Larson.

She attended Moline Schools and graduated with the class of 1955.

She married David J. Kohl on September 22, 1956, in Moline.

Janet was employed for 30 years at the Deere & Company Administrative Center as a Visitor's Services Coordinator, retiring in 1992. She was later employed at The Mark of the Quad Cities during the final construction and grand opening of the new arena, leaving The Mark in 1995.

She is survived by her brother Jerald Larson; nephew, Eric (Marsha) Larson; and great- nephew, Blake Larson.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband David; and her three sons, Mark, Michael and Timothy.

Memorials can be made to St. Anne's Catholic Church, East Moline, where she was a member.
