Funeral services for Janette M. Cornmesser, 88, of Moline, IL, will be 11:00 am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Anyone wishing to attend must wear face coverings and respect social distancing. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mrs. Cornmesser died Saturday April 10, 2021, at Manor Care Davenport, IA.

Janette Huggart was born April 14, 1932, in Mineral, IL, the daughter of Edward "Eddie" and Irene (DePauw) Huggart. She married Don Cornmesser March 5, 1949, in Moline. He passed away May 3, 1995. She worked for AMETEK, John Deere Harvester, and lastly at K-Mart. She enjoyed going to the 6:30 Club, Lions Club lunches, having lunch with her cohorts from K-Mart and working in her yard.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Raschke, Geneseo, IL, and Carol Morrison, Moline; grandchildren, Janelle (Ben) Wilson, Scott (Amanda) Raschke, Amber (Robert) Sherrod, and Holly (Dave) Park; great grandchildren, Zach, Addisyn, Logan, Finnigan, and Christian; siblings, Rita O'Dell, Silvis, and Edward (Janice) Huggart, Colona, IL; and the School Girls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Edward Raschke; and brother, Vernon Huggart.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
