Janette A. Rieger, 68, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her home. A memorial visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday, at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private inurnment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Janette Hale was born February 23, 1948 in Manchester, IA, the daughter of Albert Bud and Dorothy (Luck) Hale. She graduated from West Delaware High School, Manchester. She married Kenneth Rieger on July 11, 1969 in Anaheim, CA. Janette had been a beautician for many years, working at Marvin & Allen Hairdressers Inc., Davenport. She enjoyed playing euchre and loved time with her grandkids. Survivors include her husband, Ken, sons; Jason Rieger, East Moline, Eric (Sarah) Rieger, Coal Valley and Brent (Julissa) Rieger, Moline, grandsons Ryan, Andrew, Carson and Brice, and siblings; (twin sister) Janeen, Weber, Phoenix, Joleen Wilhelm, Manchester, Julie Nicholas, Phoenix, Doug Hale, Phoenix, Dave Hale, Manchester and Gary Hale, Phoenix, and many nieces and nephews.
