Funeral services for Jean LaCrosse, 77, of Hampton, IL, will be 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Mary's Mission Church, Hampton. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 8:00-9:30 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. LaCrosse died Monday, October 2, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, IL. Mr. LaCrosse was born October 21, 1928 in Waterloo, IA, the son of Louis and Anne (Coughlin) LaCrosse. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Jo Ann Whitted November 11, 1966 in Lake Charles, IL. He had worked as a glazer for Local 581, retiring in 1984. He was a Chicago Cubs Fan and a Notre Dame Fan. Survivors include: his wife, Jo Ann LaCrosse of Hampton; sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas LaCrosse of Clinton, IA, Joseph and Jennifer LaCrosse of Rome, Italy, David LaCrosse of Raliegh, NC; grandson, Tristan LaCrosse; sisters and brother-in-law, Beverly Saelens of East Moline, Roseann and Luiz Britto of Brazil; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Karen LaCrosse of Portland, OR; several nieces and nephews.
