Funeral services for Jeanette Proesch, 92, of Moline, IL, will be 11 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Entombment will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs Proesch died Monday, November 26, 2018, at Manor Care Davenport, IA.

Jeanette Johnston was born January 16, 1926, in Rock Island, IL. She married Norman Proesch July 4, 1948, in Lowden, IA. He died January 26, 2008. She worked for John Deere for nearly 20 years. Jeanette always have something nice to say about people, and was loved by all. She never met a stranger and was truly a loyal friend. Her amazing nature landed her as everyones "Mom". She and her husband were graceful ballroom dancers.

Survivors include her daughters, Denise (Larry) Blackwood, Colona, IL, and Michele Malone, Moline; son-in-law, Bert Rios, Silvis; grandchildren, Paul Rios, Melissa (Randy) Ledezma, Toni (Jayme) Massa, Jennifer Rios, Paul Malone, Mark Malone, and Todd Malone; 12 great grandchildren and numerous honorary grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Pam Rios; and great grandchildren, Hailey Malone, George R. Malone Jr., and Tyler Ledezma.
