Jeanine Louise VanDeVelde, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at the age of 83.

She was the devoted wife of Ron VanDeVelde, the proud mother of four sons (Doug, Jeff, Scott and Tim), and grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who all were the center of her life. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for her family.

She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and ability to make everyone around her feel important.

A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the St. Damien Center of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline, IL, with visitation following from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held after the visitation at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28th, at the church, and will be live streamed on the Sacred Heart Church Facebook page. Entombment will be at the Mausoleum of Saint Mary Cemetery, East Moline. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Avow Hospice, Naples, FL.
