Jeanne Van Voltenburg, 98, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her home. Funeral services are 10 AM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd,. East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, where she was a member.

Jeanne was born October 16, 1920 in Argyle, MN, the daughter of Camiel and Augustine Laurin. She married Claude "Barney" Van Voltenburg on October 26, 1942 in Davenport. She had worked at Link Belt and the Rock Island Arsenal. She was a member of the East End Boulder's Club and the EM AMVETS Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children; Janice Biggs, East Moline, Greg (Cyndi) Van Voltenburg, Silvis, Kim (Nancy) Van Voltenburg, East Moline and Scott Van Voltenburg, East Moline, grandchildren; Grant, Michele, Andrea, Kyle, Chad, Amy, John and Eric and eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandy and 11 brothers and sisters.

The family would like to thank the Genesis Hospice Nurses for their care and compassion.
