Jeffery “Jeff” A. Misch, 57, of Moline, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jeff was born on June 11, 1968, in Rock Island, the son of Andy and Deborah (Bennett) Misch. He worked as an electrician through IBEW Local 145, working at Tri-City Electric. He married Leslie O’Bleness in June of 2007; they raised six children in the twenty years they spent together. After separating they remained close friends and made sure their children came first. Jeff loved everything outdoors, from fishing, camping, and coaching sports. He enjoyed watching all sports and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. Most of all he was a family man and cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and his dogs.

Jeff is survived by his children, Candice (Jordan) Schoffstall, Prestin Misch, Blake (Megan) Misch, Katlynn (Zach) Elliott, Kelsey (Cecelia) Hernandez, Karisa Misch; grandchildren, Adelyn, Nolan, Eloise, Ezra, Luca, Iyla, Letty, and another granddaughter on the way; siblings, Shannon Hofer, Andrea (Tim) Edwards, Casey Brown, Guy (Janet) Foutch, Darrick (Amy) Kent, Shane Misch, and Rodney Foutch; mother of his children, Leslie (fiancé, Bill Panouses) O’Bleness; step-mother, Vickie (Bill) Kent; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends, including his best friend, Ronald Peters. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Timothy Misch; nephew, Cody Stewart; stepfather, Eddie (Wendy) Brown, and father-in-law, William O’Bleness.
