Jeffery L. Smith, 53, Moline, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Funeral services are 12 PM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorials Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 5-7 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.

Jeff was born June 5, 1965 in Moline, the son of William and Linda (Kozeliski) Smith. He graduated from Rock Island High School class of 1983. He married Judy Overstreet, June 21, 1996. He worked as a baker at Olde Towne Bakery, Moline. He enjoyed Sci-Fi especially Dr. Who. He loved baking and gardening.

Survivors include his son Zachary Smith, Bettendorf, His parents, Colona, brother, Brent (Becky) Smith and their children, Avery, Carson and Brady, and his wife, Judy, Bettendorf
