Jeffrey L. Fuhrer, 62, of East Moline, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, at his residence.

A private family graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Hampton Cemetery, Hampton, IL.

Jeff was born on July 27, 1964, in Davenport, IA, the son of Donald and Alice (Samson) Fuhrer. Jeff enjoyed playing and watching baseball and was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan. He loved golfing and playing his guitar with friends, was a history lover and book collector. Most of all he loved his feline family.

Jeff is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Adam Grennan; niece Brooke Grennan; and nephew Noah Grennan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Alice.
