Funeral services for Jeffrey T. Schultz, 50, Silvis, are 11 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct military honors. Visitation is 4-8PM Monday at the funeral home. Jeff died Thursday, September 7, 2006 at his home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Jeffrey was born February 9, 1956 in Moline, the son of Fred and Shirley (Williams) Schultz. He attended United Township High School before moving to Oak Harbor, Washington where he owned and operated Schultz Maintenance for 20 years. He moved back to the area in 2003 and had been working as a handyman. Jeff was a US Navy Veteran and was a true Chicago Bear Fan. Survivors (and spouses) include; his children Lindy Schultz Mejia, Oak Park, IL, Sarrah (Brian) Frei, Oak Harbor and Steve Schultz, Oak Harbor, grandson Hayden Frei, Oak Harbor, his parents Fred and Shirley, Silvis, sisters Teresa (Dave) Nelson, Rock Island and Brenda (Dave) Christensen, East Moline and brothers Mark Schultz, East Moline, Steve (Deana) Schultz, Castle Rock, CO., and Gary (Beth) Schultz, Williamston, SC.
