Jennifer R. Barlow, 36, Silvis, died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at her home. Funeral services are 10 AM Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. The family requests that in lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials be made to the family. Jennifer was born on March 26, 1978 in Silvis, IL, the daughter of George "Harry" and Barb (DeClercq) Barlow. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Educational Teaching. Jennifer taught special needs children at Willard School, Moline. She loved working out, running, and playing softball. She loved her family and was very proud of her son. The two of them loved traveling and spending time together. She was a Bears fan and enjoyed watching movies. She and her son enjoyed raising butterflies, and other animals from babies and setting them free or returning them to the farm. Survivors include her son, Bryce Rogers, mother, Barb DeClercq Barlow, East Moline, father and step-mother, Harry and Debbie Barlow, Moline, half brothers, Tyler Barlow and Brady Barlow, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael, grandparents, Weiss and Florence DeClercq, and George and Veryl Barlow, and several other family members.
