Funeral services for Jerome "Jay" Dumoulin, 43, of Moline, IL, will be 9:30 am Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Jay died Saturday, September 3, 2016, from the results of an automobile accident. Jay was born September 25, 1972, in Silvis, IL, the son of Ronald and Victoria Ramirez Dumoulin. He was a graduate from the University of Illinois at Champaign. He had most recently been an inventory specialist for Von Maur. Jay was a sports fan, he especially enjoyed the Chicago Cubs and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Dawn Dumoulin, Moline; sons, Isaac, Champaign, and Levi, Moline; step children, Andrew and Nicole, Moline; parents, Ronald and Victoria Ramirez Dumoulin, East Moline; brother, Alexander (Jamie) Dumoulin, Moline; Granny Mary Ramirez, Silvis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Marsha Jones, Moline; brother-in-law, James (Abbey) Jones, Moline; nieces and nephews, Dominic, Damian, Kaley, Jesse, Colton, and Hunter; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louis Ramirez and paternal grandparents, Edward and Rosemary Dumoulin. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.
