Funeral services for Jesse C. Kave, 74, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Thursday at First Christian Church, Moline, IL. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. Kave died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital OSF, Peoria, IL. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Moline or the Parkinson's Association. Jesse was born October 3, 1938 in Moline, the son of Jesse James and Geneva Kaiser Kave. He served in the U.S. Army Special Forces, Green Beret 6th Special Forces Group. He married Jacqueline Harrison July 29, 1966 at First Christian Church, East Moline. He had worked for John Deere Plow Planter Cylinder Division, Moline, as a supervisor, retiring in 2004. He had been very athletic during his earlier years. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears Fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved spending time with the grandkids. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jackie Kave, East Moline; daughters, Cheryl (Kirk) Clendaniel, Jacksonville, FL, Sheila (Jeff) Pfab, East Moline, Elaine (John) O'Connor, East Moline, and Susan (Scott) Allen, East Moline; grandchildren, Nicholas, Bruce, Samuel, Chelsea, Jessica, Ryan, Sarah, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Adam and Brody.
