Jessie L Leech, 78, Moline, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at his home. Funeral services are 1PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday. Jessie was born on August 29, 1937 in Unionville, MO, the son of Earl Jessie and Chloie Humphreys Leech. He married Connie Andrews on October 14, 1961 in Rock Island. She died May 16, 2004. Mr. Leech retired from Franks Foundry, Moline, where he was a crane operator. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughter, Chloe Leech, Moline; brother, Charly (Cheryl) Leech, Wheatland, IA; sister Mary Jane Lyday, California, MO; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a sister; 2 brothers; and a half brother. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
