Funeral services for Jesus H. Hernandez, 64, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00PM. Mr. Hernandez died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. Jesus was born July 12, 1946 in Oaxaca, Mexico, the son of Jose and Ana Torres Hernandez. He married Humbertina Medrano in March of 1967 in Acapulco, Mexico. Survivors include his wife, Humbertina Hernandez of Silvis; daughters, Susana (Juan) Alonso of East Moline, Maria (Mauro) Calleja of Silvis; sons, Jesus (Julie) Hernandez of Moline, Oscar (Sarah) Hernandez of Washington, IA, Jorge Hernandez of Rock Island, IL; 12 grandchildren; 4 sisters; 2 brothers.
