Jimmy R. White, Sr., 72, formerly of Moline and Colona, died October 20, 2005 in Hospice House, Savannah, GA. Funeral services are 2 PM Monday at Anderson Funeral Home Beaufort, SC. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Dr., Savannah, GA 31419. A memorial service will be scheduled at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline at a later date. Mr. White was born, January 28, 1933 in Fayette, AL the son of Hugh and Velma (Trimm) White. He worked for John Deere, Moline in the foundry pouring Iron and Molds, retiring after 30 years. He moved to Beaufort in 2001 and loved to travel. Survivors include a son Jimmy R. White, Jr., Cleveland, IL, daughters Lisa Werthmann, Beaufort, Cheryl White and Paula Clark, both of East Moline, brothers, Terry White, Dunedin, FL and Roy White of Clermont, GA, sisters Polly Plott and Irene Robinson, Both of Dunedin, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
