Funeral services for Joan A. Anderson, 65, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00 am Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Visitation will be 2:00-5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson died Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City IA. Joan was born July 18, 1950, in Moline, the daughter of Richard G. and Etta Jane Conwell Hoeltzner. She married Gene L. Anderson Jr., October 13, 1970, in Rock Island, IL. He died October 29, 1994. She was a graduate of Moline High School and attended beauty school in Moline. She worked as a beautician in her earlier years and retired from Aramark Services in 2005, after 30 years of service. Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who adored her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Gene Anderson III, Moline, Amy (James) Fuller, Geneseo, IL, and Richard (Nicole "Nikki") Anderson, Coal Valley, IL; grandchildren, Kiley, Mya, Keegan, and Kaine; great grandson, Monroe; sister, Linda Hoeltzner, East Moline; brother-in-law, Mike Sellvaggio, Blue Eye, MO; mother-in-law, Jane Anderson, Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Jane Sellvaggio; and father-in-law, Gene Anderson Sr. Memorials may be made to the family.
