Joan E. Marchese, 87, of Geneseo, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at her residence.  Per her wishes, no services are planned.

Joan was born on April 21, 1937, in Hazen, AR, the daughter of Ernest and Maydell (Maddox) Colclasure.  She married Anthony Marchese on November 13, 1959, in Moline.

Joan is survived by her children, Antonina Howell, Surprise, AZ, Michelle Jackson, Cape Coral, FL, and Marc (Lisa) Marchese, Clarksdale, MO; "adopted son", Kevin Ward, Cape Coral, FL; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Marchese; parents; brothers, Ernest and Preacher Colclasur; and sister, Effie Makovac.
