Funeral services for Joan T. Dunbar, 51, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited 6:30. Mrs. Dunbar died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at her home. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial may be made to Madeline Grace Quick Education Fund. Joan Holland was born August 13, 1955 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Grace (Bell) Holland. Joan graduated from Alleman High School. She married Wallace Roy Dunbar October 5, 1974 in Rock Island. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. She had been very active in her children's life. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Joan worked for 25 years at the Target stores in Moline and Davenport IA. Survivors include: husband, Roy Dunbar of East Moline; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Kevin Young of Coal Valley, IL, Meredith and Chris Quick of Palatine, IL; son, Ryan Dunbar of Palm Coast, FL; granddaughter, Madeline Grace Quick of Palatine; mother, Grace Holland of Rock Island; sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie and Mike Baird of Rock Island; Jane Holland of North Liberty, IA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Holland of Rock Island; Mike and Charlene Holland of Moline, IL, Mark and Melissa Holland of Rock Island, James "Jocko" and Sue Holland of East Moline; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Terry Williams of Silvis, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Darrell and Paula Dunbar Princeville, IL, Rex and Elaine Newman of Hampton, IL.
