Joanne Stark, 80, Davenport, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home. Services are 11 AM Wednesday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation is from 10 AM until service time at the church. Private committal will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Joanne was born in Dunnell, MN, to Carl and Geraldine Paulson. She married James H. Stark in 1957. He died on October 20, 1991. Joanne retired as a teller from the former State Bank of East Moline and taught and was the director of Stewart's Cosmetology. Survivors include her children, Dianne (William) Zachar, Tucson, AZ, Debra (William) Mahannah, Bettendorf, Denise Stark (Mark Duffield) San Diego, CA, Susanne (Keith) Buennig, Geneseo, James (Julie) Stark, Long Grove, IA and John (Heather) Stark, Coralville, IA, grandchildren, Katie Mahannah, Amy (Nick) Seward, James Buennig, Carter Stark and Pete Stark, great grandchildren, Lily and Andrew Seward and siblings, Lavon Peton, Graettinger, IA, Sheryl Marr, Minneapolis, MN and Marlin (Mary Anna) Paulson, Ft. Ogelthorpe, GA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Paul Brown.
