Funeral services for JoElaine Allison, 81, of Bettendorf, IA, will be 10am Friday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Rock Island, IL. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a Trisagion (Prayer) service will be held at 6:30pm. Mrs Allison passed away Friday, July 16, 2021, at Iowa Masonic, Davenport, IA. Jo was born September 6, 1939, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Anatasios "Tom" and Sadie (Changas) Elias. She married Dale A. Allison October 1, 1960, in Moline. She worked over 30 years for the former State Bank of East Moline and later MetroBank. She was very active at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, where she was a member. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Dale; sons, Daniel (Mary Ann) Allison, Carmel, IN, Matthew (Anne) Allison, Mundelein, IL, and Michael (Anne Bossert) Allison, Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren, Sophia, Sarina, Sam, Beck, Kathryn, and Stephanie; and her brother, Milton ( Lynne) Elias, Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents.
