John Willis Gordon, 69, Moline, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Private services will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery. John was born October 29, 1947 in Moline, the son of Willis and Lorraine (Pickel) Gordon. He retired from Interstate Battery. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his children, Jamie Mathis, and Jason Gordon, Port Byron, five grandchildren and siblings, Linda Mills, Moline, Monte Gordon, Geneseo, Elizabeth (Gary) Loy, Moline, Patrick (Melissa) Gordon, Viola and Susan Jordan, East Moline.
