Funeral services for John M. Huston Jr., 25, East Moline, are 10 AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 3-7PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2:30 PM. John died Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Illini Hospital, Silvis. A memorial fund has been established. John was born September 8, 1984 in Silvis, the son of Clarissa Martel and John M. Huston Sr. He worked at Farmland Foods in Monmouth, IL. John married Edelma DelaCruz on September 24, 2007 in Rock Island. He enjoyed playing Soccer, being with friends, and his tattoos. He had great love for his family and cherished the time he shared with his grandparents. Survivors include his wife Edelma, daughter Olivia, son Juan-Antonio, both at home, his mother Clarissa Martel, East Moline, father and step-mother John and Michele Huston Sr., East Moline, brother Gary Martel, Davenport, sisters; Annastacia McKay, Moline, Mariah Huston and Makenzie Huston, both of East Moline, grandparents; Donna Huston, Moline, John and Nancy Reynolds, East Moline, Harold and Karen Dusenberry, Bettendorf, IA and Josephine Ybarra, East Moline and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by grandfathers; Anthony John Martel Sr. and Kennard Huston.
