John Kie Larson, 41, Rock Island died Monday, July 13, 2009 at the home of his Mother in Moline, as a result of an accident. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-7PM at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Rock Island County Animal Care and Control, Moline. His body will be cremated. John was born September 19, 1967 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Gary and Barbara (Petersen) Larson. He graduated from St. Ambrose University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Magna cum Laude. John had a passion for renovating homes. John was a kind and loving son and friend. He had a keen sense of humor that will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his parents Barbara Larson, Moline, and Gary (Patricia) Larson of Ely, Minnesota, brother Gregg (Christine) Larson, Sidney, IL, stepbrothers; John Keller, Charleston, SC, Ryan Keller, Manchester, NH, and Sean Keller of Iowa City, IA, a niece Elisabeth and a nephew Eric.
