Graveside services for John H. Licko, 89, East Moline, are 10:30 AM Monday, April 4, 2011, at Rock Island National Cemetery, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct Military Honors. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, East Moline, where he was a member. John died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Trinity Terrace Park, Bettendorf. John was born April 26, 1921 in East Moline. He married Pauline Arch at Immanuel Lutheran Church, East Moline, in 1943. He served in the US Army during WWII. He retired after 44 ½ years from John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline. Survivors include his wife Pauline, children and spouses; Bonnie and William Stocker, San Juan Capistrano, CA, Ronald and Nancy Licko, East Moline and Donna and Andrew Kerr, Mericopa, AZ, seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother Steve and sisters; Ann, Elizabeth and Katherine.
