John W. Moore, age 67 of Dale, Indiana, passed away at 6:03 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, IN. John was born in New Albany, Mississippi on October 20, 1952 to JC and Lillian (Doss) Moore. He was an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors. Surviving are two sons; John Moore, Boone, Iowa, and Michael Moore, Ames, Iowa, one daughter; Susan Moore, Ames, Iowa, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were one son; Brian Moore, his parents, three sisters; Rebecca Schoenfeld, Mary Birdsley, and Alice Hughes, and one brother; Bill Moore. Graveside services are 10 AM Saturday at Bethesda Cemetery, Hillsdale, IL. A procession will leave Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline at 9:30 AM.
