Phillips, 59, of Rock Island, IL, will be 10:30 AM Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. Phillips died Thursday, June 05, 2008 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. John was born August 19, 1948 in Moline, IL, the son of Louis and Rosalie (Barr) Phillips. He served in the US Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Survivors include: sister, Lavon Kleffner of East Moline; brothers and sister-in-law, Dale and Donna Phillips of Silvis, Ronald Phillips of East Moline; nieces and nephews.
