Funeral services for John J. Pisman, 66, of Hampton, IL, will be 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Hampton Township Cemetery, Hampton, IL. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL., where a liturgy service will be held at 8:00 PM. Mr. Pisman died Monday, September 05, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. John was born January 26, 1939 in Moline, IL, the son of Peter J. and Anna (O'Neil) Pisman. He married Linda Hauman, August 13, 1960 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Colona, IL. He is a graduate of Alleman High School and H.S. Barber College. John had been a barber for 46 years, and the last decade or so you could find him at Garry's Barber Shop, East Moline. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, The East End Bolders Club, Moline and the Hand in Hand Club. John enjoyed bowling and playing Rolle Bolle and was a die hard St. Louis Cardinals Fan. Survivors include: wife, Linda Pisman of Hampton, IL; daughters, Kimberly Carter of East Moline, IL, Jill Pisman of Hampton, IL; grandsons, Steven Carter and Branden Berhenke; sisters and brother-in-law, Rosemary Lofgren of Geneseo, IL, Barbara and Floyd Fay of Mount Morris, IL, Ella May Winger East Moline; brother-in-law, Larry Humberstone of Rock Island, IL; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet and Al Maddelein of Moline, Karen Aguilar of Silvis, IL.
