B. John De Schepper, 76, East Moline, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is 3-7 PM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. John was born December 16, 1939 in Rock Island County, the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Hamerlinck) De Schepper. He served in the US Army Reserves. John had worked for Downing's Dairy for 20 years and the was owner operator of the Keg Tavern in East Moline for 18 years and 21 days. He was a graduate of Alleman High School, Class of 1958, was a past 30 year member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan and a life member of the East Moline AmVets. Survivors include his loving companion of nearly 36 years, Marjorie Angelo, her children, Randy Gaylor, Joe Gaylor, Janet Smith, and Douglas Lairmore, nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and siblings, Robert (Mary Ann) De Schepper, Milan and Bonnie (John) Epping, Beardstown, IL, a sister-in-law Joan De Schepper and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and Sisters; Rose Regal and Marjorie Wilhelm, and brothers; Dan and Joe.
