Jon P. Jones, 56, of East Moline, IL, died Monday, March 23, 2015, at UnityPoint, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2:30PM. Graveside services will be held in Savanna Township Cemetery, Savanna, IL at a later date. Jon was born October 26, 1958, in Muscatine IA, the Son of Ivan and Josephine Braun Jones. He married Jackie Sturtevant June 30, 1989, in Clinton, IA.She died December 30, 2009. Jon was a Quality Assurance Specialist working at the Rock Island Arsenal. Survivors include his stepdaughters, Jamie (Corey) Engel, Freeport, IL, and Sara (Ted) Richmond. Hanover, IL; grandchildren, Peyton and Preston Engel, Kally, Abby, Ben and Amie Richmond; sisters, Jane (David) Lamb and Jennifer (Todd) Spear; brothers, Nile (Carey) Jones, James Jones, and Jeffrey (Linda) Jones.
