Funeral services for Joseph Anthony Ostrowski, 56, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a prayer service will be held at 3:30PM. Mr. Ostrowski died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. Joe was born October 12, 1957 in Rock Island, IL, the son of Richard and Nancy Nitzel Ostrowski. He married Theresa Troutwine, July 10, 1976 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona, IL. He worked as a machine operator for Bee Line Manufacturing, Bettendorf, IA. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and Bears. Music was his passion, being an accomplished musician (self taught) on guitar and drums. He loved to travel, had been an old movie historian, and an avid reader of the bible. The most important thing to Joe was his family. He couldn't wait to have Sunday dinner on the deck at his parents home. Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Ostrowski (Jamie Colvin), Clarence, IA; grandchildren, Shane, Brody, and Brandon; parents, Richard and Nancy Ostrowski, East Moline; sister, Christine Butler Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Michael Ostrowski, Bettendorf, IA, and William (Belinda) Ostrowski, East Moline; nieces and nephews.
