Graveside services for Joseph B. Reedy, 68, of East Moline, IL, will be 10 am Monday at Rock Island National Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be 1-3 pm Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Mr Reedy died Monday, April 1, 2019, at Genesis, Silvis. Anyone wishing to attend graveside serves should be at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, by 9:30am Monday.

Joe was born April 28, 1950, in Rock Island, IL, the son of Joseph and Margaret Wilson Reedy. He served in the U.S Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Pamela D. Willemarck September 25, 1976, in Rock Island. Joe served as a Police Officer for the City of East Moline for over 32 years, retiring in 2006. Over the years he had been active in several service organizations. Among survivors include his wife, Pam; son, Travis Reedy, IL; grandchildren, T.J. Reedy, Tytan Reedy and Liam Jones; siblings, Michael (Diane) Reedy, FL, Mary Piper, MO, Ed (Laura) Reedy, IL, Patrick Kevin (Shannon) Reedy, VA, Eileen (David) Meyer, CO, Christine Herschberger, CO, Tom (Denise) Reedy, IL, Terry Sawyer, NC, Diane Anderson, NC, Jackie Flack, IL, Randy Reedy, TX, and Patrick Neal Reedy, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Justin.
