Funeral services for Joseph E. Valle, 93, East Moline are 1PM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 3-7PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Mr. Valle died Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Church, where he was a member. Mr. Valle was born November 25, 1913 in Enid, OK, the son of Luze J and Delfina (Hernandez) Valle. He married Patricia T. Trujillo on November 23, 1936 in Rock Island. Mrs. Valle died on December 13, 1996. Joe worked for the Rock Island lines until 1938, when he went to Bettendorf Steel for 5 years. From there he worked eleven years at Hick's Co., a year and a half at Riverside Foundry and finally retired from Black Hawk Foundry, Davenport in 1979. He was a member of the Lilac's Club, Davenport, the QC Times 60+, and enjoyed watching baseball and football especially Notre Dame Football and the Chicago Cubs. Survivors include his children (spouses); Josephine (Dennis) Dolan, Bettendorf, Rosemary (Larry) McCullough, Rock Island, Susan (Jay) Fuller, Portland, OR, Victoria Valle, Moline, Juanita K. Brown, Rock Island, Mary Kehoe, Davenport, Alice (Rick) Dickenson, Davenport, Robert Valle, Anthony Valle, Steven (Sheri) Valle, Ralph (Debbie) Valle, Rudy (Kim) Valle, Patrick Valle all of Davenport and Ronald Valle, Illinois, thirty-two grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren an 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters Caroline Montez, East Moline, Linda Bellman, Moline, Vicky Seragoza, Silvis and Beatrice Cruz, Silvis. In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by sons Peter, John, Joseph Jr. and Louie and a daughter Juanita. The family would like to extend a special Thank-you to the Clarissa C.
