Josephine "Mary Jo" Delles, 85, of East Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Cremation rites were accorded. Graveside services will be 11 AM Friday, November 22, 2024, in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, where military honors will be presented by the East Moline American Legion Post 227.

Mary Jo was born January 1, 1939, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel Essex Delles. She served in the U.S. Navy.

Mary Jo loved spending time on the farm in her early years. She enjoyed her crafts, puzzles, the outdoors, and her beloved dogs. She always had a Pepsi in her hand. Her outgoing and caring spirit will be remembered fondly by her family, many friends, and neighbors.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Sandy Delles, Moline, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Bill Delles, Don Delles, Trudy Stratton, Bev Stevens, and Vernan Delles.
