Joshua C. "JB" Brandom, 38, Colona, passed away in his sleep, on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home. A Celebration of his life will be from 4-8 PM Thursday at the Colona American Legion. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. JB was born April 18, 1979 in Silvis. He graduated from UTHS class of 1997. He married Jacque Scott in 2001 and they had 2 children. He worked at Anchor Lumber, Eastern Iowa Tire and most recently at Material Control Systems and George Evans Corp. JB enjoyed bags, softball, fishing and golf but most of all loved being Dad. Survivors include his children, Mackenzie and Ethan, fiance Stephanie Dugan and their son Wyatt, parents, Carl and Mary Beth (Gottwalt) Brandom, Colona, siblings, Jennifer Brandom, Moline, James (Amy) Brandom, Colona, grandparents, Mae and Leander Gottwalt, Carbon Cliff and Irma Brandom, Moline, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews including special niece, Brittani Mae and Stephanie's daugher Jayden.
