Joyce Kay Serckie, 75, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center of Moline, IL, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. A memorial fund will be decided upon at at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Joyce Anderson was born October 14, 1936 in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of William G. and Sarah Louise Machleith Anderson. She had worked as a sales associate for Sears & Roebuck, Moline, IL for 25 years. She had been self-employed up to the time of her illness. Joyce valued friendships and had a love for cats. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Oldfield-Harris, Silvis; granddaughter, Cara and Nathan Rosas, Moline, IL; great-grandson, Jaxson Rosas: sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Dale Wildermuth, Prophetstown, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Janet, brother, Charles, son-in-law, Robert Harris.
