Juan Herrera, 66, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, January, 22. 2013 at his home under Genesis Hospice Care, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00PM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30PM. Memorials may be made to the family. Juan was born March 9, 1946 in Ejido San Isidro, Coahuila, Mexico, the son of Jose Herrera-Quiroz and Amanda Mondragon. He married Paula Martinez January 25, 1975 in Ejido San Isidro. He retired from Xpack, Milan, IL, after 36 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Paula Herrera, East Moline; daughter, Elizabeth Medina, East Moline, son, Ivan Herrera, East Moline; grandchildren, Omar, Jose Luis, and Carlos Medina; siblings, Jesus Herrera, Jose Herrera, Hector Herrera, and Sonia Caballero all of Texas; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
