Funeral services for Juan Ramon Medina, 70, of East Moline, IL, will be 10am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home where a prayer service will begin at 6pm. Mr. Medina passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, at OSF St. Francis, Peoria, IL.

Juan was born November 13, 1950, in San Benito, TX, the son of Thomas and Esperanza (Rodriguez) Medina. He married Irma Villarreal August 2, 1968, in Harlingen, TX. He worked at the former Farmall, Rock Island.

Survivors include his wife, Irma, East Moline; children, Irene Medina, Rockford, IL, Crispin (Lori) Medina, Rockford, and Raymond (Toccara) Medina, Moline; grandchildren, LeRoy, Ashley, Kayla, Nikko, Kaydon, Taelyn, and Zaile; great grandchildren, Izaiah, Gabriel, Scarlett and one on the way (Emmett) ; siblings, Soccoro Medina, Lubbock, TX, Trina Hernandez, FL, Eva Corpus, FL, Juan (Manuela) Medina, East Moline, Manuel Medina, Harlingen, Raul (Melinda) Lubbock, Israel (Lucero) Medina, DesMoines, IA, and David Medina, Harlingen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Esmeralda, Lucy, Guadalupe, Thomas, and Hector.
