Juana Velasquez , 87, of East Moline, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Allure of Moline.  Per her wishes, no services are planned at this time.  Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Juana was born on March 28, 1938, in San Francisco Del Rincon Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Benito and Maria De Jesus (Hernandez) Rodriguez.  She married Jose Velasquez in 1952; he preceded her in passing in 2010.  Juana enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching her soap operas.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Juana is survived by her son, Guadalupe Velasquez; grandchildren, Miguel, Jose, and Leticia; great grandchildren, Isabella, Jordan, Kayden, Maddox, Kamya, A'Nivea, Greyson, and Roy'el; great-great grandson, Zay'vion; sisters, Aurelia and Graciela; brother, Benito; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter-in-law, Esther Velasquez; and multiple siblings.
